Marking the first top-tier international single-discipline wushu event held since the launch of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the tournament has drawn over 110 elite athletes from 30 countries and regions across five continents to compete. In an interview, the Vice President of the International Wushu Federation noted that wushu carries tremendous added value. It connects people of varied cultural origins and brings inner peace and balance to humanity.
